Is the Hard Rock worth it?

Is the Hard Rock worth it?

I can answer this right away…YES!!!

Find below reasons why I think the Hard Rock, while one of the more expensive options at Universal, is definitely worth it!

I have been fortunate enough to stay at the Hard Rock numerous times, and the reason we keep going back is because I can no longer compromise loosing what you get from staying at this hotel. I do always look at the other options at Universal, but end up booking Hard Rock, so I have been spoilt from the start……….

I personally see this question being asked on social media forums, and get asked by customers all the time, so i thought it would be really useful to put it into words, why i would always say if its in budget - stay at Disney!

Staying on site at Disney is obviously more expensive than staying off site on International Drive, as Disney is a premium product, that comes with added benefits.  I thought I would give you the top 5 reasons why you should consider paying the extra to stay in a Walt Disney World hotel for your next trip to Orlando.

Caribbean beach Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando has had some controversy over the past few years, and if I’m honest I do think it was blown out of proportion judging how much work Disney are currently doing at the number one tourist destination in the world.

However now the work at Caribbean Beach is complete, I want to talk about why I think this is the HOTTEST moderate resort at Walt Disney World.

Why book Orlando in advance!

Why booking a holiday to Orlando in advance has its advantages!

There are many of us who still believe in the ‘late deal’ trend that appears to have become a staple of holidays overseas. The truth is, these days, late deals are not always ‘deals’ and you can actually get yourself something better by booking in advance.

A little bit of shopping in Orlando

We all like shopping right?

Orlando is known extremely well for its well priced shopping outlets and malls!

When I worked there I was in the middle of a shoppers paradise!

(ignore my demonic shoppers face above, I was just happy)

Close to Disney and just a 20 minute walk from Disney Springs, is a little place called The Crossroads, which is one of my favourite areas away from the Parks, but not too far!

Disney Cruise Line was my FIRST experience on a large ship, and I wanted to go through my experience as I was extremely apprehensive about doing it, and now I am HOOKED!!!

This is going back to 2014, we were originally booked for 13 nights At Disney World on site with 2 nights at the Hard Rock at the end.

Having done some looking about at Disney Cruise’s I found a 3 night Cruise on the Disney Dream which was a steal…. Should I book it?

There is a HUGE stigma among the frequent Orlando fans that using a Travel Agent is a rip off.

I think the best response to this is, you have been using the wrong travel agent!

We all know the high street multiples such as Thomas Cook and Thomsons, which do try their hardest, but with limited knowledge and experience it doesnt build a lot of confidence in the customer.

My motto is 'If the customer knows more than you, you don’t deserve the booking'

Why stay in a Disney Resort Hotel?

I thought I might write a post about my feelings on why you should stay in a Disney Resort hotel!

This is coming from someone who has stayed in a Villa, on International Drive, at Universal and on Disney numerous times.

I think the best thing to do get out the way the fact I’m a Disney nerd, so there may be a slight bit of Bias on here! But I will be speaking from my experiences as a Travel agent also on some of the complaints we have had about various elements of all options!

Doing Disney the right way

Its most families dream to be able to take their children to Florida, and with prices of holidays to Spain becoming increasingly more in costs the difference in cost is becoming minimal. And a LOT of families are beginning to realise a trip to Disney I no longer a dream it can become reality.

Everyones holiday expectations are different, however in my opinion there is only 1 way to do it for the first time. And that’s to stay on site in a Disney Resort hotel.

I have been to Florida many times, ive stayed on International drive, in a villa and on site at Disney. The difference in cost between on site and off site is priceless, and when Disney have their free dining offer it really is an aoutstanding offer. Not only are you getting your food on site (which is renound for being extremely expensive) your also getting a world known Disney hotel with their impeccable service.
